A bit of an advanced notice on this, but I'm excited: Philly-based art-noise electro-pop project Cold Cave plays the pill on Friday, Nov. 20. I've been spinning "Life Magazine" each week since Mikey Lee of Coralcola tipped me off a few months ago. It features Wes Eisold of American Nightmare experimenting with more electronic sounds, and the results are increasingly promising. They just got signed to Matador Records, and Stereogum is also aboard. This will be insane.
