Dragonette get 'Easy,' announce mini-tour

(In sync with Hotline) When the Little Boots & Dragonette silver-lipped dance-fest super-tour slated for the Middle East in Cambridge next month got shelved, we here at Hotline HQ were wicked sad (and this was even before openers French Horn Rebellion blew our minds at SXSW).

There’s still no word on a rescheduling for UK electro-pop princess Little Boots (bet on the new show being at a larger venue than the Mid East Down). But Dragonette have picked up the pieces and whipped up a mini-tour of their own, hitting Great Scott in Allston on Tuesday, April 27, the day before their planned appearance in Central. Not a bad consolation prize.

The glitzy Canadian electronic rocket is celebrating this just announced mini-tour of the Northeast (yes, and DC) by releasing a new video for the new wave-ish ballad “Easy.”

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Dragonette singer Martina Sorbara is this generation’s Justine Frischmann (Elastica). Loves. Full tour dates after the video…
