From a recent Hotline post of mine: Tuesday night's La Roux show at the Paradise RC should be one of the best of the season. But if you haven't already gotten tickets, now's the time to do so. There's only about 20 tickets left, and a Live Nation source tells Hotline the highly-anticipated show should sell out by tomorrow morning.And as if the pure electro-pop fury of La Roux wasn't enough for a sleepy Tuesday in autumn, organizers have added some intense local flavor to the bill: opening things up are rising synthpop susperstars and current darlings of the British press Yes Giantess (a Hotline fav) while Thunderdome's Mistaker serves as the night's DJ before and between the bands.
Yowza! Get on this if you haven't already... and look for Jed Gottlieb's interview with La Roux's Elly Jackson in tomorrow's Herald.
