While certainly I'm enjoying this latest dance-band wave coming out of Boston, I also like reading a Q&A that features five former pill performers oh-so-casually name-dropped (We have: Passion Pit, Yes Giantess, Televandals, the Motion Sick and the Sterns; and you can make it six if you count Freezepop, though they've never technically played our Friday).
Anyway, this new wave of Boston dance one seems intent on not only sticking around but breaking through the mystical brick wall that cements us within the 495 belt. Very exciting shit right here, and the New Collisions are living up to the heaps of hype thrown their way.
