ITP: The Mary Onettes @ TTs tomorrow

From the Hotline bloggy blog: The Halloween Weekend Hangover is still nagging at the back of our collective throats, but the November concert calendar officially kicks off tomorrow night at TT the Bear's with Swedish pop outfit The Mary Onettes. Described as pretty much everything from indie dream-pop to jangly post-punk to new wave alt-rock, the band's new album "Islands" drops this week. With a sound that suggests a heavy dose of Echo & the Bunnymen and the Chameleons UK, these cats should be on the tastemaker radar by year's end and a perfect introduction to the cold months ahead.

Excellent support on tomorrow night's bill as well, as Bearstronaut are a great new basement synthpop act from Lowell in the vein of Passion Pit (check out the "Wire" EP and the brand spanking new "Broken Handclaps" album) and NY/Boston trio Of The Opera create really cool atmospheric pop music that destined for radio attention.

Here's some evidence on the Mary Onettes. TT the Bears dot com has the show info.
