Entertaining read from Hipster Runoff posted today about how MGMT are already apologizing for the utter mediocrity of new single "Flash Delirium," which was given away for free last week. HR highlights and passes along some great MGMT quotes courtesy of Spinner.com, as well as an accompanying video that really serves no other purpose than to hype up the song. Which is what ALL OF THIS is doing. I knew MGMT were fucking with us when they released that video surfer album art for "Congratulations" a few weeks ago, but I had no idea they were THIS GOOD at fucking with everyone. This shit is brilliant. Oh, and "Flash Delirium" isn't that bad. I surrender: MGMT are geniuses.
