Little Boots canceled her gig in Boston on April 28, and I was bummed -- until now. Turns out Fenway Recording Sessions is bringing London songwriter Kate Nash to Great Scott that night, and tickets go on sale this Friday ($20 via ticketweb.com, limit of 4).
I listened to the song "Foundations" hundreds of times on those lonely and boring Route 2 trips to see a girl out in Harvard a few years ago, figuring this breakup song would eventually play a role. It did not. But it remains one of my fav songs ever, and outlasted the love affair. Goodness gracious this just made my day.
