Repost from today's Hotline tip on the RSL blog 3rd anniversary showcase: Happy anniversary shout-out to our friends over at the Ryan's Smashing Life music blog, which celebrates three years of life with a sweet show tomorrow night at T.T. The Bear's Place in Cambridge. Details, bios and streaming music can be found here.
RSL founder Ryan Spaulding is offering up four of his favorite Northeast acts: the indie-folk of The Grownup Noise, the atmospheric rock of Blizzard of '78, New York synthy pop-rock kids Bridges & Powerlines and Quincy-based theatrical rock upstarts Tik Tok.
Spaulding has a great ear for new and emerging local talent, so he's a safe bet to plan a night around even when you're not all too familiar with his lineups.
After all, this is a man who appreciated the genius of Brooklyn indie-Americana band Pela (RIP), so he is to be trusted.
