Age Rings return as Hot Protestants

Ol' local indie favs Age Rings have reshuffled the deck a bit and re-emerged as Hot Protestants, with a few new tunes up on their site. It pretty much picks up where AR left off, with a bit more left-of-the-dial sonic urgency and a touch of Emergency Music's jangle-pop goodness. They debut June 13 at Great Scott with DPony, the new project from the kids in Hooray For Earth. Worth a look.
